What is Street Team?

Street Team is Egypt Street PR & Literary’s influencer and reviewer community, designed to connect creators with exciting upcoming books and literary campaigns.

Members receive regular email updates featuring available review titles, campaign opportunities, industry news, and exclusive mailings.

Who can apply?

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Live in the United States

• Have an active social media account (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

• Have at least 500 followers on their primary platform

• Have posted consistently within the last three months

• Follow @egyptstreetpr on your platforms

We welcome creators across all genres and content styles, especially those passionate about picture books, middle grade, and young adult literature.

What kinds of books are included?

Street Team titles span a wide range of genres and age categories, including picture books, middle grade, and young adult fiction, graphic novels and more. From fantasy and historical fiction to thrillers, romance and contemporary stories, nonfiction and award-winning titles, we aim to offer something for every kind of reader.

What are we looking for in applicants?

We’re looking for thoughtful, enthusiastic creators with engaged audiences who genuinely love sharing books online.

Whether you create reviews, reading vlogs, aesthetic content, recommendation lists, or discussion videos, we want to work with creators who are excited about storytelling and discovering new books.

Is there a posting requirement?

Our goal is to connect great books with readers who will genuinely enjoy them. That being said, we will send you gratis preview copies and give you the opportunity to read and review them, but you are under no obligation to post about every title you receive. We encourage members to tag @egyptstreetpr and post links to any content they create.

For select tours or campaigns, we may coordinate scheduled posts or specific posting dates in advance with participating creators.

How do book requests work?

Members will receive seasonal emails featuring available titles and campaign opportunities.

You’ll be able to request books that interest you, subject to availability. Based on your interests and audience, we may also match you with titles we think you’ll love.

Is Street Team open internationally?

At this time, Street Team is only open to U.S. residents.

Will I be paid for posting?

Street Team partnerships are currently unpaid. Members receive complimentary books and access to exclusive opportunities, but there is no requirement to post content in exchange.

What should I include when posting about a book?

If you choose to post about a title you received through Street Team, please disclose that you received the book for free.

We also encourage members to:

• Tag @egyptstreetpr

• Use #EgyptStreetPR and #EgyptStreetReads

• Include the title, author, and your honest thoughts or review

We encourage you to include the following information about the book in your post: book title, author (and illustrator if applicable), your review of the book, a short book synopsis, and a compelling photo or video of the book. 

Do you only work with book influencers?

Not at all! While many of our members are active in the online book community, we also love working with creators in lifestyle, education, parenting, pop culture, and other spaces who have a genuine interest in books and reading.

Does submitting an application guarantee acceptance into Street Team?

No. Due to limited availability and campaign fit, submitting an application does not guarantee selection. If selected, our team will contact you directly with the next steps and upcoming opportunities.

How will Egypt Street use the information I’m submitting?

We require your email and mailing address in order to sign you up for the influencer newsletter and to mail any books that you request. We will not use your information for any additional purposes.
